Most countries have laboratories or hospitals where a CBC can be drawn. The patient can be provided with an order or prescription for the lab to be drawn with a date for the draw. The laboratory can send the result to the prescriber by fax or secure email. Most countries have substantially fewer barriers to clozapine dispensing than the United States. The patient can obtain the clozapine from a local prescriber, by prescription sent to a local pharmacy, or the medication can be shipped express to the patient upon receipt of the ANC and entry of the result into REMS.
