An increasing number of sites throughout the U.S. are beginning the process of implementing early psychosis intervention. This guide walks through the steps involved in establishing a new early psychosis program, including an explicit articulation of the decisions involved. The guide describes core elements of Coordinated Specialty Care (CSC), which is considered the current standard of practice for early psychosis intervention. Replication of an existing program model can help simplify the process considerably, but many of the decisions listed in this document are not explicitly addressed by the research.
