In what states may pharmacists legally administer long-acting injectable antipsychotic medications?

Pharmacists may fill a patient need for the administration of long-acting injectable (LAI) antipsychotic medications in some states. This MAP from the National Alliance of State Pharmacy Associations (NASPA) details in which states this task is within pharmacists’ scope of practice in map form. The first map image illustrates where pharmacists may administer medications in general, and the second map image illustrates pharmacist authority to specifically administer LAIs.
